when i say i’ve been meaning to listen to a new band or a vinyl i bought that i haven’t played yet it’s not that i’m pushing them aside or whatever it’s that if i’m going to listen to it i have to literally stop everything, spread across my bed and do nothing else but listen to this music or else i’m not /really/ listening to it 

does anyone else get super distracted before taking a shower like you take off your clothes then get distracted by something stupid and end up organizing socks naked on your bedroom floor for a half hour or is that just me

today during physics my teacher turned out all the lights to show us some electrical light thing or whatever so he started making all these lightning bolts or whatever idk

and my friend told me to take a picture so i pulled out my phone and took a picture AND MY FLASH WENT OFF ((strict catholic school = NO CELL PHONES AT ALL EVER)) and my teacher was like “what was that flash, was that a cell phone”

i looked my teacher straight in the eye and said “oh no doc that was just your electrical stuff that made that flash” and he jusT SAID “OH” AND WENT BACK TO PLAYING WITH HIS PHYSICS TOYS 

when my friend mary ann was in 1st grade and her friends drank juice boxes at lunch she would ask them for the little plastic wrapper that came on the straw and she would put them in her lunch box then when she came home from school she’d take all the wrappers and hide them under the cushion of the couch in her living room and eventually she had like 150 fucking wrappers under the cushion and she was so scared her mom was gonna find out she had kept all these wrappers under the couch cushion so she put them in the trash then put tissues on top of them so no one would see them

i’m really cross about school because i genuinely enjoy learning and acquiring skills & knowledge i wouldnt otherwise possess BUT i fuckin hate homework and waking up early. and also tests. fuck tests.
